Grey is my favourite colour right now, however I thin your door need a bit more depth to it. A deep burgundy or blue would make it stand out. I would suggest hanging baskets either side of the door complimenting the door colour too. Leave the door frames white though to match the windows. Thanks for all your feedback. I think you’re all right when it comes to sorting out the canopy rather than installing a porch. The windows are relatively new and there’s lots of them so replacing them is not an option. So we’re thinking of going for F&B Hague Blue with worn brass door furniture and definitely some plant pots either side.

I'd vote for all black. It will really set off the detailing of the arch. It's such an interesting shape. Maybe add a potplant (small tree) either side too, something like olive or bay in a black pot..

I would use Hague Blue (F&B) but I am not a fan of baby pastels on front doors. Stiffkey Blue is also very striking I have used it before. You said you live in a Mews type setting. What colour are your neighbours doors? Front doors painted black are reputed to sell for more money than any other colour. What direction does your front door face if your back is to the door facing out? I can suggest the best Fung Shui colour based on the direction for you if you let me know? It depends on your front door's element.
