Kitchen Flooring Help!
So time has come to fit new flooring in the kitchen and we're struggling to choose what we want! At first I thought a dark floor would look nice but after trying many different samples I've gone off that idea as I feel it clashed with the worktop and grey doors... I picked up some lighter large wood effect tile planks yesterday from the local tile shop but wondered what people's thoughts were with having a wider board than the decking outside or should I find a tile with a similar width to match the decking? (The dinning table won't be staying there it's just temporary) Many thanks!

In addition, your kitchen has great potential to match the wall splash back with the floor tiling later on.

I agree with Schmidt Kitchens Loughton, light or very light grey tiles, be it stone effect or even concrete effect would tie up the inside and outside nicely! Your kitchen is on a classic side, so the neutral grey will not overcrowd this style, keeping it warm and homey at the same time. Also, try large format, to minimise the pattern clash:
