Bathroom floor tile dilemma

So I think I’ve settled on the wall tiles - see pic and that is my sink unit. But what to put on the floor? Not keen on matching but it’s an option, black hexagons, wood effect, simple dark grey tile, mosaics, the possibilities are endless. Work starts Monday - eek!

8 years agoHi mrsmcee, how are you?! As you say there are a few options! How big is the room? Are all walls being tiled? I like the idea of hexagon tiles as you don't need to worry so much about grout lines, these are part of the Casablanca range from mandarin stone with a few options. I think they would add warmth and texture. You could also potentially go for a marble chevron floor in a grey and add a wooden stool or shelves, plant etc for warmth? What taps etc are you having?

Comments (18)Porcelain is a tough tile which will not crack or break easily. they are very long lasting. vinyl is out dated and just doesn't look good. Your other option should be ceramic tiles. So it should be between ceramic and porcelain. I'd still recommend porcelain but ceramic is cheaper, that's the biggest advantage of ceramic.
