Help! Which Window Display?
We're in the process of finalising the theme for Christmas windows in our Kent Interior Design Showroom at Nick Auston Design. Time is of the essence, and we're hoping you can help with our dilemma.
Last year we really went for it with our 'Geometric Christmas' windows. [see image above]
This year we have two options:-
- Option one has a daring 1980's pastel 'Miami vibe' [see ideas board images below]
- Option two is more traditional, along the lines of our 2015 windows. [See image at bottom of page]
What do you think?
Our Kent showroom is well known for it's striking window displays, so we want to maintain our high standards, and not disappoint.

We had a similar problem at home, until my wonderful husband had the idea of nailing together some old market crates (the type used for fruit & veg) - a bit like what Courtenay Moon suggested! We sanded them down to get rid of any splinters and then painted them. They look similar to the picture I've attached. I wish I could remember where we got the crates from, but I'm sure there must be lots knocking round at farmers' markets around your home town! I realise this doesn't solve the television problem, but maybe you could think about using old pallets - you can often get those at builders' yards. Good luck with your project! Although our website only offers blinds up to 240cm wide if you call our Customer Service team on 0800 107 5535 we should be able to get you sorted as we also service the commercial sector which usually require larger blinds.
