I do however personally like a lighter colour with stone though so think I'm erring towards french gray, which is a great colour. I'd get some testers, they'll both look great. Comments (2)Double or triple glazed timber windows will look better, last longer and add value to your home. They come in any colour you like. You can repaint them when you want (for example, when you change the interior colour scheme). Comments (36)That colour was f&b stony ground which is actually red based but I think must have some green in, I thought it would work with the terracotta tiles. Something like the lighter shaded white may also work although colours are normally a couple of shades lighter on the exterior. The previous owners of our house painted it farrows cream, I swear it gets more yellow each day! I don’t know anything about the render tbh but I don’t think it needs any maintenance for 20-30 years hence the initial application cost is dearer. I’ve attached this link as I’ve come across a few similar comments (but as I say I don’t know anything about the render and you’re always going to get negative reviews of things). Comments (12)Hi Maja Anthracite grey is a wonderful colour, and probably the most popular on all our products at the moment! They look amazing on houses, although sometimes the brick colour or rendering can mean they may be too dark or perhaps need less contrast, so they may not be right for everybody. A recent customer's house had a visible dark roof, so anthracite grey was a bit too much, and they chose a pale grey instead... I think your brick colour is lovely and pale so will contrast very nicely and will look amazing with anthracite grey - especially in the sunshine! Finished with a timber effect foil, you will hardly notice the difference between uPVC and original timber - except you will be getting all the benefits of a modern maintenance free window. You may want to look at a Solidor Composite Front Door to further enhance the look, security and low maintence qualities to the doors and windows of your home....See More
