Hi all! I'm getting a glass splashback and will be getting a quartz worktop. My question is would ou still have An upstand or just glass without the upstand?
I think you you have either the upstand to match your worktop then painted wall or cover the wall with tiles or glass. I think both the upstand and glass splashback together looks wrong
As long as the glass splashback sits onto the worktop and is sealed (to stop water & crumbs getting under the glass) then just the glass - as Jonathan said.
I think it's personal preference. I'm going to have an upstand and a splashback. I'll try and attach a pic so you can see what it would look like (this is a mirrored splashback rather than glass though)
