Hello Houzz minds,
Happy new year!
We are having a lot of discussion about lighting in our kitchen/living/dining area and wanted all your opinions on whether we are overkilling it with lights. Bearing in mind my husband and I are not fond of down/spot lights.
Currently we have
- x8 wall lights (WL)
- x4 pairs of spot lights
- x3 pendents over the island
- strip LED lighting under wall cabinets in the kitchen
Whole room is 7x6m. Having had a read of a few articles, should we think about not having the spot lights in a grid fashion and instead have them focused on things eg sink, prep sink, entrance way, dining table etc?
Your thoughts would be most appreciated. Thank you all
