looking for tile effect shower panels

I am looking for tile effect shower panels - in dusky pink or a duck egg blue colour...

Been searching all over internet but can’t find any. I love the subway/metro (?) style tiles in the shower enclosure but really like the ease of cleaning the wall panels. I’ve seen a few but would like these particular colours ... no luck yet.

If I don’t find any I may just go for the coloured high gloss acrylic panels.

Has anyone seen any tile effect ones anywhere?

You could possibly use white metro ones, and then paint the rest of the bathroom or accessories in the duck egg blue, or pink? Just a thought if you don't find any...

There are lots of tile effect ones, but not sure if they are in that specific colour, seem to be quite neutral colours that I could find. x

Juby, here is a link to some nice acrylic shower panels. Our favourite is the metro/herringbone effect in grey tones or fish scale pattern in light blue. But there are many others..hope you find what you’re looking for! Good luck

Thanks that was helpful and your Denver project looks great! We were thinking of using a herringbone 2x5" or 2"hexagon calacatta mosaic on the bathroom floor with larger format (18x30ish) porcelain marble effect tiles on the wall. Great pointer about tile depth! I actually have a question about your Denver project as we're considering to use a freestanding bath vs. inset bath in a similar layout (bath and shower sharing a wall). Not sure if I have enough space for a freestanding bath and wondered how close the freestanding bath should be offset from the walls? I might only have a couple spare inches on each short side and a bit more behind the bath for taps. Don't want it to look squeezed in!

HI Jodg, Microcement is what you should look into. Its seamless, so no worries about trim. When applied by trained applicators it's completely waterproof. It's available in over 30 standard colours, also metallic finishes. it's only 3mm thick so you wouldn't lose as much space as you would with panels. We incorporate a mesh into the base so it will not crack. Finally the sealing is polyurethane so aswell as being waterproof it is extremely hard wearing. Hi Sangita, your best bet is to hire a skilled joiner as there is not a wide selection of wood panelling available online in the UK (it looks like the style in the image is quite American). If you are looking to re-create the exact style, which has pretty wide slats then I would approach a joiner who can build this for you. Reason I suggest this is because all the plumbing and electrics needs to be rigged through the panelling as well. We have boards in our shower cubicle. Love it. Wouldn’t have anything else. We have Bushboard Nuance. Not the cheapest but one of the best. Not sure if there’s something of interest on their website

I do like the herringbone . Our walls are going to be grey so I wanted the shower area another colour to brighten it up .

Juby, we think herringbone is a great choice! If you combine it with tiles in a darker shade of grey, that would be a very stylish combination. Don’t worry about mixing grey colours together, they just need to have a bit of a contrast and the same undertones (warm or cold grey). A bathroom with this colour scheme will look very natural, timeless and elegant, so we suggest you go for it. Let us know if you’d need any help
