Renovating Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Our client had a bathroom from us several years ago and wanted to try and achieve the same finish. They weren't a fan of the beige and grey look which is popular at the moment and opted for a navy blue tile.

What do you all think?

My spare bedroom is yellow and teal. It is a farrow and ball yellow but I can't remember the name of it, but it is quite subtle and looks absolutely gorgeous with the teal. The walls are painted yellow but the curtains, accessories and bedding is all teal, and white woodwork. If you don't like yellow then I think grey is fantastic idea. Farrow and Ball do French grey and it is gorgeous with teal. Also, my sister has a room which is really pale green and teal and it is lovely (pale green walls and all accessories and curtains shades of teal).

Hi. That looks a lovely house. The beams on this house are painted in farrow and ball mouses' back which should look nice with your tiles and chimney. I also think drop cloth could look lovely ( a stone but doesn't have the green undertone) but it may be too light as I would choose 2 shades darker than normal for exteriors really. Or you could paint the render in it and go for lighter or darker beams. Hopefully some nice houzzers can do a render for you in your preferred colour as painting can be very expensive!

I guess the budget answer is as little as we can get away with but am guessing somewhere between £25k and £355k for everything. Does that sound enough? I guess the largest amount of money will be spent on the kitchen. We moved in beginning of December and so far we have replaced all the windows, removed water tank from loft and immersion heater from airing cupboard and have had an unvented system installed (think that is what it is called). We have also had the back end of our double length garage converted to a study/sewing room. Bathrooms are booked in for May, finalising the plans for those in a week. The kitchen is the big one though. Then it will be installation of new gas fire to replace the electric one in the sitting room, new flooring, hopefully new bannister, flooring, carpet, decorating and plantation shutters throughout. Then the garden!
