We are buying a house. Currently there is a smaller breakfast room off the kitchen with a dining table, and a "dining room" that is used as an extra lounge, but only accessible through the sitting room. Both are single storey. We are thinking to knock the wall through and add a skylight, but not sure whether to put 2 (1 each above the current breakfast and dining rooms) or 1 skylight, either central or above the dining room. Added complication that the dining room extends out slightly further!

Any thoughts what would work best?
