Comments (2)I like your layout with the sofa opposite the TV. I think there are often compromises to accommodate a Christmas tree but I would have probably moved the footstool rather than the sofa and put the tree to the left of the TV. For me a round table would probably work better but since you have a table already why not focus on decorating to make it feel like yours- at the moment the absence of wall colour or any pictures makes it look like a blank canvas....See MoreSmall kitchen and living space help
Comments (10)Good morning Aqsa, Thank you for sharing your renovation project. Some further guidance and food for thought for your project: 1. We would think about introducing a reflective surface like a glossed ceiling in the smaller area towards the back patio doors to allow for even more light and make the room appear larger (see image below). Seek professional guidance for this installation. 2. The sofa is a beautiful shade, but dominates the space, you might want to include a design which has only only one foot rest rather than two dominating L-shapes to each end of the current set-up 3. By introducing a landscape picture (longer) above the sofa which compliments your overall colour theme, will add some texture to the space and remove the mirror (which is too small for this space) 4. Think about changing the colour of your dining table to a lighter shade, and introducing a rectangular dining table with curved edges to accommodate the curvature you are looking for and look for curvature in the design of the chairs also to create a more streamlined modern design focus. See image below. Comments (8)Just to add to that. It’s winter and we have a lots of jackets and shoes and lots of summer clothes in bags. I will buy from ikea and anything that can help us. I have 2 handbags and 2 backpacks. No space in the malm draws it’s already full from T-shirts, jeans, joggers, lounge ware, sleep clothes, socks and underwear. Scarves and gloves. The dresser is so full to point of having to roll the clothes like in a travel bag. and I have already minimised and removed summer clothes. Don’t have space for jumpers for both. Having only draws and hanging space is a nightmare. The hanging space is jammed pack too so it would be nice if we could get some ideas to add shelving from ikea, under storage (can’t have those draws on wheels because i don’t have floor space to pull them out fully etc and where to put things I have no idea. Slowly loosing my mind! Please help...See MoreGARAGE CONVERSION - small space ideas!
