Bathroom floor help
We are redoing our bathroom. Chosen wall tile but can’t decide on the floor. Wall tile is textured white on left in photo. Can’t decide whether to have same on the floor in darker shade or grey or patterned floor tile. I like the Harvey Maria patterned tile in the photo but not sure vinyl will look right with the wall tile or to choose a porcelain patterned one. And do you recommend under floor heating with porcelain tiles?

Comments (11)Assuming that is your washstand the tile is against I would tile the floor with the same tile to avoid you having too many different flat surfaces in a small space (assuming you can get it in a floor quality tile). Given the light situation I would paint a feature wall in a deep colour to add contrast to an otherwise fairly white room. Comments (7)Couldn't find Travertine effect tiles that I liked, so went with a different, but similar effect tile. Seeing them in real life next to your existing tiles is important. But I'd definitely go for something like the one I posted....See MoreBathroom floor tile help!
Comments (12)I remember a friend once saying black tiles showed the dirt very easily and needed cleaning more often. All the images of the dark tiles show them used with a light coloured grout which would be needed to show the shape of the tile. I would go for a hexagonal shaped tile if that is what you like. Everything dates eventually. I think a brick tile pattern is now a bit dated. I think either of the lighter shades would look great...See More

4 years agoIf youre not sure, keep it cheap.
These two are just nice sheet vinyl. Both look great and cost peanuts.
If. You don't like it in the future or you'd rather something else, it's super inexpensive and some great choices available online
