Hi Melanie That blue seems very similar to No.253 Drawing Room Blue (Farrow & Ball). On the picture below Im suggesting 2 shades for the remaining walls. On the left No.277 Dimpse and on the right Calluna No.270 (all Farrow and Ball). Whatever color you pick I would have the same on the ceiling. Laura, it’s a personal preference but I’d say no. You already have a dark and light contrast which I think looks nice. By introducing The Hague Blue, I think you’d cheapen the impact of your concrete wall by introducing another dark element. I think it’s a case of leaving well alone, it looks good as it is.

Hague blue can look good with a variety of colours: dusky pink like Setting Plaster, or a type of India yellow for example. However it depends on how much colour you would like to have. You can introduce these other colours using furnishings rather than paint colours and stick to a neutral like Dimity for the walls. On the other hand if you like the drama of the blue and want to achieve a flow throughout the l-shaped space, then continue with the Hague blue. I haven't really answered your question, but I hope my ramblings help. Good luck.

Thank you minnie101 Love the color of the footstool! I was thinking of putting tv up on the wall in the corner and then to put a chair where the tv is now. I’ve got a round mirror in the hall but it hasn’t got a frame. Do you think black or antique gold frame would be better? I can see what you mean about tying up the colors with those in the painting and cushion. If I could swap the mirrors? Or find another wall for the big mirror, which is another problem 🙁. In the unfinished spare bedroom? Which looks like a cupboard 🙄
