I need help choosing a wallpaper for my 60's kitchen
Comments (11)Hi Caro, I have attached two images of wall paper that I think you compliment your kitchen. The green and blues in these wallpapers would harmonise with the existing titles and highlight the height of the room. From your ideas book it seems you like repeat patterns, both of these styles suggest a 60s feel whilst remaining contemporary. As you can see in the second photograph, the pattern and colours sit very well with the dark shiny worktop, similar to the one you mention putting in at a later date. The first wallpaper is affordable and ethically sourced. Let me know what you think...See Moreneed help to choose kitchen wall colour
Comments (20)I would choose something very close to that deep red/rust/plum (can't quite work out what it is) in the granite. It looks as if that colour is also in the tea towel on the right (hanging on the handle in front of the oven). Everything else is so light I think the room would take it well and it would give it wow factor. You need a warm colour, as someone else has said, to tone with the cream of the cabinets and the granite....See MoreHelp me to choose between two layouts of kitchen and lounge
Comments (5)I'm going to say Peninsula as there's more worktop to work on, but it was a very hard decision! But if the L shape had a circle table, I'd probably choose that one....See MoreStone fireplace and tan sofa - help me choose the rest please!
Comments (18)The colour of the wall paint will depend on the amount and direction of the sunlight and will change when the artificial light is on and even on a different wall of the same room. I’d go for a cooler greyer tones. However be aware some greys can look greener with different lighting. Choose some samples, paint them on a large piece of paper and hang them in different walls of the room, look at them during the day and evening. You might find out that you like whites and greys with yellow and red undertones more. The blue pieces are very nice and will go very well with your light brown sofa It’s a very nice rug. I like the Middle Eastern style. I’d go for a bit darker blue to go with your blue pieces. https://www.carpetright.co.uk/heriz-oriental-medallion-blue-rug#0 Then you can compliment the rug with more Turkish motif curtains https://www.hillarys.co.uk/inspiration/edgy-geometrics/ https://www.hillarys.co.uk/inspiration/edgy-geometrics/?products=Curtains&fabricgridfilter=true&page=2/...See MoreOnePlan
