@rominamuscat Do you mean the ceiling/coving looks (sometimes) yellow, or the cabinets do? It’s probably a combination of the light (natural and artificial) with the paint colour causing the yellowish appearance. Lighting can often be the biggest factor in a paint colour not appearing as you expect all the time. (In the pic the ceiling looks okay to me). Monitor the colour during the day to work out when it looks yellowish and then you could try changing the light bulbs in the light fitting first, before thinking about changing the paint (It’s a cheaper experiment than repainting and might just solve your issue)!

Hi! My bedroom is a really odd shape with many doors because of built in wardrobes in the eaves. We have curved walls into ceilings on most walls so it’s impossible to find the end of wall and the start of the ceiling! I have chosen Little Greene Livid colour for the walls to paint half height with brilliant white for the ceiling and top part of the walls. (which we have already done) Hubby and I are thinking that we might like to paint the ceiling and all the walls the same Livid colour. Would it look ridiculous? Should we leave all the wood work white or paint it exactly the same colour? I have attached a couple of pictures of the oddly shaped room, and one of inspiration. Forgive the mess of my pictures!. Where the bed is in my picture will be dressing table or chair (I am thinking of feature wallpapering that wall because it is a’flat’ wall) and a different bed will go in front of the wall with the wooden shelf on top. The room is north facing and we like that it doesn’t get a lot of light! But the window is white PVC so I am wondering if we should stick the white woodwork.. Thanks for reading! Amazing place. If you think about the values rather than the colours it may help. I feel the walls need to be light and as much as is possible the floor too. If both the ceiling and the walls are dark it may feel very squeezed in. I don't know if huge pale rugs are an option, but they would certainly reflect some light back in. The colour might also be determined by lighting. If you use LED lights, they can really skew paint colours, often bringing in an unpleasant green tinge, especially to off white with a yellow base. Something like the 'Stone' colours from Paint and Paper library are really good, they are slightly pinker than any of the F&B yellow based neutrals and nicer than their red based ones. Stone 2 or 3 might be a good start.
