Do check out these kind dining table

This one from made.com is lovely but prob best not recommending chairs without knowing your budget. And are you looking at 8 new chairs? Or just 6 and use two of the old ones for bigger gatherings?

Our current chairs are from made.com and the round table from ikea, both all purchased as a temporary solution while we figure out our needs and find the right design. My budget is quite wide subject to the products being the perfect fit :) I really like Carl Hansen products but the downside with their tables is that the extension leaves need to be stored separately. We are open to buying new chairs and complementing them with the ones we have.

Oh definitely a faff storing extending leaves separately.

There are lots of Houzzers on here who are better at finding great furniture than I am but I'll keep looking as well! Best of luck.
