We're a bit unsure about the finish on the dormer loft conversion. Do you think it looks right or should we stain it a darker colour to match the roof or windows?
It looks unstained at the moment, if so (dependant on the wood) it'll probably 'silver' and go darker naturally after a couple of years or so. Maybe check with the supplier to see if that's what'll happen.
it looks like untreated pine, can thou advise on tbe material. if it is pine. you need to put a proper paint or stain system on the pine asap as it will rot if not covered with something.
can you advise on the material used for the cladding.
