Garden Redesign, Advice Needed!

I'm not too bad with interior design but when it comes to anything outside I'm clueless. It would be great to have your thoughts and any ideas for improvement on this.

We're just after any immediate advice on general layout at the moment and deciding whether we want to make any major changes to the layout before the paving is all pulled up and redone.

At the moment we use the small paved back garden area to dry clothes and eat lunch outside when the weather is nice.

The driveway area is simply that at the moment, not sure how to make that area look much better aside from new paving and maybe some solution to hide the bins? What kind of paving would people recommend? We were thinking of opening up the driveway entrance to try to fit two cars side by side going straight in but after experimenting this morning I don't think there's the right space to do it, it would mean using the grass verge to enter the driveway and it would make it look pretty bad, especially in the winter. If you have any other ideas or solutions do let me know.

As for the front garden with the grass, I think we'd like to extend the paved area by the front window a bit so we have somewhere to sit while the little'n plays in the garden, plants would be nice but we'll probably still need plenty of space for kids stuff, sandpit, slide etc... Other than that I'm really not sure where to start on this one.

Anyway hope someone has time to look through this stuff and please make any suggestions. Thanks!
