Hello! We have been looking for houses like this one: https://www.onthemarket.com/details/5344758/ (the one that's listed as no longer on the market, but you can still see the pictures). We were considered, if we bought it, opening up the dining room and then kitchen to make a much larger space. We realise we would need to get a structural beam support to do this. However, we were considered it could impact the charm of the house. What does everyone think?
