kitchen paint colour help

Hi
Redoing kitchen in cashmere and blue. About 3/4 cashmere with an area of blue lower cupboards. Most of the wall that is exposed butts up against the cashmere units. The room is southwest facing and longish with a small west facing window also. So can get dark away from the main kitchen window and door.
Have looked at dulux pebble shore and polished pebble but they are not inspiring me.
Any suggestions please

Farrow and Ball All White could work, get a sample and see if it goes

I think you could go a little grey-er. try and pull out the veining in the worktop to make it pop

I think a light grey would enhance your table and chairs. You can add accents of brighter colours in small touches (kitchen herbs, fruit bowl,...) and some art on the table wall? The kitchen looks quite dark, you could consider letting more light in by leaving the blinds up and maybe change the ceiling lighting to halogen spots?

We will be repainting existing doors as we got a second hand kitchen. Other possibility is to replace doors as I would prefer shaker style but either way we would need to paint part of the existing units. I'll attach a picture of our new units in their previous situ.

Hi, Using colour: I would stay neutral for the walls above the units; a great colour example of this is 'Strong White' by Farrow and Ball and then for the wall on the left of the photo I would have this as a feature all and go for a darker tone such as 'Green Blue' by Farrow and Ball. Using lighting: spotlights are great as they can provide an even spread of light in your kitchen, especially if you are limited in natural light. Due to having a dark coloured back splash, having under cabinet spotlights on a separate electrical circuit would provide additional lighting on the worktop area in the evening and night hours. Paint samples on A2 or A3 size paper and look at them in various areas and at various times of day and with different lightbulbs etc as all of these factors can make a difference ! Love the blue and cashmere choice !!! Nb. F&B Purbeck Stone is a good match to DIY Kitchens cashmere colour if you wanted a match anywhere !

Hi Jo. It is Caesarstone empira white. The sample doesn’t have much of the graining in it unfortunately

Hi Terry. It is dulux heritage deep ultramarine that my kitchen company are doing specially for me. It is lovely, not as dark as some of the navy colours available as standard.

Try Skimming Stone (F&B), it has a bit of magenta in, as does the blue and the cashmere.

I have polished pebble in my lounge, but I think white would work better with your units (no need to spend twice as much on F&B paint).
