Hi all - I feel a bit silly asking this, but can someone please tell me the difference between corian, quartz and “solid surface”? I see these terms mentioned a lot, and having googled, there seems to be lots of brands. How do I know what to look for, and how do I know what a good price is?
I currently have lovely granite worktops that are over 10 years old and still perfect - however they are very, very dark in my already dark kitchen. I’m wanting to change them for something lighter. I like the look of carrara marble - but having got real marble in a bathroom, I know not to have it in a kitchen!
All advice gratefully received. Also if anyone has had experience of swapping their worktops, that would be gratefully received too. Things like damage / disruption of swapping worktops etc. Also - recommendations of companies that do work like this would also be great.
Huge thanks in hope!
