Gosh that picture gives me a headache 😊

I can’t quite see the dimensions through the blur, but initial thoughts are to put the wardrobes in the alcoves and to have the bed on the opposite wall facing the fireplace.

roughly room is 11x12 and doesnt have a chimney currently. I was thinking of putting a wall to wall fitted wardrobe just wasn’t sure is that wall is the best to put it.

we have an oak wood double bed in the room and a desk/dresser(white and oak color). picture of bare room attached

Using the alcoves for your wardrobes is a traditional layout but one that works. I can't make out the room dimensions but it should give you space to have your dressing table left of the window (if you're looking at the window) which will let you make the most of natural light when getting ready. You may fine that what is currently the chimney breast will actually become a recess as I think your wardrobes will come out beyond the middle wall so you could add shelving here or create a feature on the wall with photos and/or prints or hang a large mirror. again, I can't see the measurements but if it fits another option would be to have your bed between the wardrobes and have a headboard that also works as a shelf in place of night stands. Thank you Green Rain Designs, room is 12x11 roughly; with wardrobe and double bed no much space left neR window for a dresser so that will have to go on the wall opposite window - still thinking about that.

There are some really lovely dressers that are quite small if you change things in the future. Maybe something like that would work. I offer a layout service but you could try sketching it yourself to see what would fit.

Love that dresser and what a coincidence- I have almost similar one in that room just it’s a few cm wider 100x50 pic attached (the one on wayfair is 80x40).

but I have placed it on the wall opposite windows and gap between window wall and bed is too tight (can barely walk on that side).

I also need to think about color scheme of the room. any ideas what could go with existing beige color?

Wardrobes either side of chimneybreast and you can have a dressing table where the chimneybreast is as a focal point. Will that give you enough cupboard space? If not the you could put wardrobes all the way across that wall, using shallower cupboards across the chimneybreast so it’s all flat across the front. Shallow cupboards are good for folded items, shoes, handbags etc.

Bed can go opposite window (but you may not have enough width) or opposite the wardrobes.

Either way I would re hang the door so it opens against the wall.

There isn’t much storage so need wall to wall wardrobe so may have to put the dresser/desk on the right side wall.

Really like the idea of rehanging the door- hadn’t thought of that!
