Hi. I posted a few months ago regarding rejigging the layout of my Victorian conversion flat. I have now decided to do a full side return. See plans - existing and proposed.
The current lounge (on existing drawing) will stay as a lounge/snug/office until I sell and it will then be converted into a second bedroom.
BUT... I am having a real struggle trying to figure out layout for the kitchen diner. It is basically 4.5m square, and my whole reason for doing the side return is to create space to sit and eat. I've added an idea of what I am thinking but I would really appreciate creative input form the experts on here. This room ( extension) is south facing and is beautifully light and a great placebo sit as it opens onto a 38 foot garden. I'd love a breakfast bar. I don;t do masses of entertaining but a placebo eat when a few friends come over .
There will be a courtyard light well next to the bathroom.
Do I go for a u kitchen or one down one side ?
Appreciate your thoughts.
Thank you
