Hi, We'd definitely recommend keeping the hallway radiator, you'd be surprised how cold it will get without it! Like others have said: Any heat that does reside in the hallway will rise upstairs and dissipate. The cold hallway will sap the heat from all your rooms and you will most definitely feel a draft coming from the doors in all the rooms. Replace the radiator with a nice one or install a radiator cover.

I would suggest a radiator cover come console table. We had a radiator in our hallway that just wasn't in a convenient position but there was nowhere else to put it, so our joiner just made us an oversized cover. It's now a super useful place to pop things! We just had it made in MDF and painted it but there are loads of 'off the shelf' options. It's not actually attached to the wall, so would be no problem in a rented place :) Hope it helps! Claire

Anthracite all the way. That's the colour of mine in the kitchen and it looks great and also belts some heat out.
