Bora or Siemens induction hob

I’m looking at the Downdraft extractor hobs, particularly Siemens and Bora, can anyone help me with experiences of the two, I can’t seem to find any reviews anywhere for Siemens. Thanks in advance.

Hi Luke. I live near Ipswich & called my nearest retailer this afternoon who quickly informed me that I couldn't view the Boras as they are only 'sold with whole kitchens'. So if I want an upgraded hob it seems that I have to buy a whole new kitchen. Is there anywhere else more customer friendly in my area please?

I use Hob Bright on my ceramic glass hob which really gets the glass clean. Clean with hob bright first. You’re not supposed to use a scourer but I do - how else can you remove burnt on stains? Then I rinse off the Hob Bright with a damp cloth, rinsing out the cloth between wipes. Then I buff the glass with a tea towel until it’s dry. Comes up lovely. I’ve used other products but they’re not a patch on Hob Bright.

Ive had two Bora Basics so far. Both times when purchasing ive looked at the competition and other options. If im honest the Bora represents value for money compared to those other options. Especially if you dont want an extractor in your eyeline over your island/peninsula, or a flush mounted ceiling extractor. A decent induction hob + the costs assassociated with buying and fitting a flush ceiling extractor will be at least as expensive as the Bora Pure. The fact it’s a beautiful looking bit of kit is just a bonus!! PS im now looking at my third Bora (due to a flood) and for me its still the best option. Currently trying to convince my wife we need the X Pure!
