Hi there, thank you for reading and sending pics...I'm using a reclaimed timber sideboard in teak for the basin and so a wood effect anywhere else will likely clash. I guess I'm trying to keep the lines as clean as possible, I just can't visualise the stop/start of the tiles and wall protrusion...Thinking I should have extended the shower tiles right the way along the wall, or at least to the length of the cistern.

I think as long as the wc boxing is the same height as the hall height tiles it will all blend and look quite clean.

there’s a free 3d design app i used when doing my bathroom called visoft smart, you can put in all different boxings and different sections of tiles etc, would highly recommend if you’re handy with design programmes, if not let me know and if i get time this evening or over the weekend i’ll do a quick mock-up of your shower/toilet area for you

Sounds really lovely - the only suggestion I would make is to have the basin in between the wc and the bath. You could then have a mirror or cabinet above, which is really quite handy. All the services should be available on that wall already as that’s where the bath is currently so hopefully no extra cost.

Oh yes! What a fabulous help this is everyone :) Thank you...and yes, why didn't I think of the sink on the opposite wall ... The unit I have will fit in the space ..sometimes can't see the wood from the trees I guess !
