Its not so much how I prefer, but bed positions in the room are very much a personal choice. Take time pushing your bed around the room. Even with a superking, you could put it on any of three walls available, and try out where you feel most comfortable sleeping. Do you have a great view out of the window you want to see ? Place the bed then everything else will follow. You have a great size bedroom, you want a great night's sleep in it too.

Option B is by far my preference - but means wherever I put wardrobes/drawers throws the room off balance.

Since you have been trying different spots, one more might help your decision! Try bringing the bed forward to find the right distance - as if you have a partition wall as CWD suggested. if you have something which could give you the sense of a wall and then tape out where you might place the other elements to see if it is feasible and feels good.

i agree with Kazz but also look at this as the room dimensions are similar. You would just need to consider lighting and bedside tables, so perhaps wall lights and a shelf would work better

You don't mention the view out your window wall? If it's a nice view, you could create a cozy sitting area for Sunday morning papers and coffee. The bed could then move down the longest wall with nightstans and lamps either side. Finish off on the shorter wall with a large dresser, nearer to the wardrobes creating a dressing area.

This arrangement gives zone's for lounging, sleeping and grooming.

Thanks for the suggestion. It’s another one I will be mocking up! It’s not currently the best view out of the window, but it will be once we’ve done a bit of work out there.

After taking a look at the floorplan options you've attached, we think that option A works well with where the bed is positioned. We would recommend opting for large bedside tables as this will help create a balance with the bed being a super king. You may find that option B almost creates a corridor effect on the right hand side meaning you are loosing quite a large wall that may have been useful. Yes, where you have positioned the bed on option A. Using a rug underneath the bed would look great too!
