Is it a day job? To fit these wardrobes?

I could do it after I move in?

They come flat pack, but I find them easy enough to put together. Definitely can be done once you move in. You’ll need to secure them at the top and they usually provide a fixing for this. I’d certainly do one wardrobe in a day, although to be fair there would be two of us on the case. The doors can be heavy and awkward, so a second pair of hands would be helpful.

So what’s the difference between a bespoke wardrobe and one from Ikea?

Would the ikea one be fit to measure the space?

IKEA wardrobes come in a range of widths, but are not made to measure. You’d probably not get an exact fit for your wardrobe space, but with a combination of different carcass sizes you should get pretty close. They’re a very flexible off the shelf product, and a very good price.

One option, is to buy some free standing wardrobes which could fit inside the space? There will always be some space mismatch but I won’t mind, specially if the price diff is large
