Love the unique shape and handles!

While on holiday in Devon we visited the House of Marbles. Teign Glass have a workshop there and on their staircase newel posts they have beautiful blown glass spheres. I think they could be a lovely bespoke touch and a timeless addition to any home. Just a thought....

The first step is to contact your local planning department. They should be able to advise you as to whether it is possible and what your local requirements are.

Where does it open onto? the garden? if you don't have a greenhouse and this wall gets any sun you could have a big window put in and have a potting bench? Or just reclaim it as part of garage to make that space for flexible. Although I do love the art room idea, if its not insulted it will be cold and once insulated it's going to be tiny.
