Master bedroom - built in wardrobe layout
Comments (29)Hi Laura Yes, take a peek on my home page at the project there. This is one I did for him. As the wardrobes were already fitted, I used "cubby storage which has bins for his jeans etc. There are also further boxes to store pjs etc. When it comes to using bins or boxes to store clothes, I would advise not using anything that stacks - always go for drawers or one bin/box per cubby. If you have to move one box to get to another then it becomes a bit of a trial and things tend to become untidy quickly. thanks Jill...See MoreHelp choose our master bedroom layout
Comments (3)Thanks, Jonathan. Your suggestion is excellent so thanks for taking the time to put that together. The walk-in wardrobe and en-suite would be luxurious, and it's great to have some hallway storage but we weren't that keen on such a small back bedroom (it could be a maximum of about c.3.4m x 2m, by my estimates, due to where the soil stack is, 30cm to the west of the current bathroom window). However, it got us thinking. A third toilet (particularly a WC) would be handy as both me and my wife work from home and would have, COVID allowing, clients visiting regularly. I came up with this spin-off from your design and wondered what you thought. What do you think of this? Is there another way to make the 2 other bedrooms double rooms?...See MoreMaster bedroom layout
Comments (1)Hi Rach, thank your for posting! I suggest you place your bed where the yellow x is, the reasons why I don't suggest placing your bed in the wall opposite to your bay windows is because, firstly, I doesn't look very nice to open your door and first thing you see is the bed and secondly, because as you said it won't be central to the bay window. In terms of storage, I could suggest having an ottoman bench below your bay windows for more storage or for your shoes. the wall opposite to your bay windows could be used to have a big wardrobe as you desire. In terms of having an en-suite, I would need to see a floor plan to give you my suggestion. Should you wish to talk in more details about your project please send me an email to info@amuriinteriors.co.uk Have a great day!...See MoreMaster a bedroom Layout - Wardrobes
