So paint the whole room in one colour and the wardrobes?

Im trying to create the same sort of feel in the bedroom as i love my ensuite, but i cant afford to replace the wardrobes so having to work with them. Do you think the grey is too much? im painting this weekend so need to get sorted!

Yes personally I’d paint it all one colour to “lose“ all the doors.

I find such a dark grey too much, again personally. Whilst your vanity is black with taps, the room is predominantly light in tone so i think using the pink with dark accents in the bedroom would work really well

You’d need to test setting plaster, i think it might be too much in the afternoon light but it’s what you like!

I agree with Minnie. The dark grey is too dark and I think painting the walls and all those wardrobe doors one colour would be more cohesive. I absolutely love the pink in the bathroom, it’s so warm and inviting. If you didn’t want to paint the wardrobes Setting Plaster, you could try a very pale soft grey maybe with a grey bed? Something like Ammonite by F&B or Goose Down by Dulux? I would keep the room calm without panelling, although I do love panelling! I’ll try and find some images.

Here’s some Setting Plaster bedrooms. You could also try Pink Ground in the bedroom, similar to SP but softer and paler.

I have ammonite in some other rooms, so good option. I think you are both right about the wardrobe doors.

What do you think about the long wall in pink? Backdrop to dark bed and bedside tables?

I really like the olive green in this picture too, what would be the best way to incoparate this colour with cushions throw etc. I have a lovely plant in my ensuite and the green also goes so well. Im worried about making it all a bit too busy.

Green goes wonderfully with pink, just look at nature! If you are going for that lovely country house style as in my picture above with the green velvet cushions, you could add a green throw and green velvet curtains, or perhaps lovely floral fabric curtains to add a bit of interest. I think if most of the room is plain, whether it’s green, pink or anything else, you can add small elements of pattern or another colour if you wish. You can also add interest with lighting and artwork.

Here’s some pink/green ideas. The green wardrobes are from Sharpes, but I wonder if that could be a colour option if you didn’t was to go full on pink in the bedroom?

from memory the colour was milky tea which looks pink on my screen but isn’t listed as being a pink. They do have other pinks i think you’d like if it turns out not to be pink though!
