Our house is almost identical in layout to the last picture above with the glass roofed conservatory, all open plan. We use the conservatory for the dining area, we have a little 'snug' area at the rear and and adjacent to that is the kitchen, and 'L' shape. Our conservatory just happens to be on the left not the right. We have a glass roof ( thermal - like this Thermo Glass ) and, not it's not cold. We have one radiator in the snug adjacent to the kitchen and one in the conservatory. The one in the conservatory is and electric one with a thermostat and only comes on if the other rad can't heat the 3 areas on it's own. This only comes on when it's particularly cold. We used to have a Twin wall type roof, and yes that was pretty chilly which is why we changed to the glass. We do have very heavy weight curtains that pull round the conservatory in the winter months to help with the cold coming through the glass windows as they are not thermal glass. I would add, that our conservatory has been up for around 20 years and 'posh' glass was not available in those days, so your glass may well have better insulating properties! Hey! I've just seen the last comments. I live in Spain and there doesn't seem to be as much choice over here as there is in the USA after browsing at lot.. the Gubi light does look similar to one of the Tom Dixon beats shapes and I like the oriental vibe they give.. I am leaning toward that style for the pendants and will probably end up going with one. As for the splashback.. it's a nightmare.. I really have no idea.. I think dark like black and I think it will look to much and take away from the accents.. I think of grey and I think it's too boring and monocromatic.. I think of colour and I get scared lol.. really don't know and to be honest... I do regret going all white in the kitchen and not going with something darker or mid tone on the lowers at the back to ground it a bit more. I see so many kitchens on Instagram and Pinterest and I am always drawn to the darker ones.. but as I have a darker floor, I thought it would be too much. Anyway, it's done now and I guess we all have things we would do differently. I could always relacquer the lower doors quite cheaply if it came to it I guess. I really love Hague Blue by farrow and ball and have always wanted to use it but I think it wouldn't fit in anywhere and I'm not brave enough anyway🙈 Some good news is that I have finally managed to get the stonemason to change the island worktop which he destroyed after cleaning it with paint thinner.. after 4 months of fighting and the carpenter also finished up all the last details this week.. after 5 months. Stonemason has offered to give me a big discount on the splashback if I put a slab on the wall but really have no idea.. options are Dekton, Silestone, Neolith and Compac colours. Would you entertain a partial floor to ceiling cupboard wall for coats and shoes (1.5m wide or 2.4m and shallow), opposite the lovely log fire, thus creating a partial ‘corridor’ through to the kitchen. You could put an upholstered bench seating on the other side and a table....or a sofa....or a desk I was then wondering if you put a doorway into your living room as you suggest behind your coat stand, would you then consider maybe a) having a formal dining area beyond in the sitting room, and, b) opening your double doors wider to have one big open plan sitting room, diner and c) your sun room becoming your office perhaps with sliding glass door if budget allows. For a middle room it is very lovely and bright. A radiator could maybe go against the stairs and/or where you have your mirror. These positions hopefully would help with not having to pull up your wooden floor. Just a few ideas to get you thinking....

Thank you. Looking at what you have drawn, which is cool by the way, having the dividing doors the other side of the door would result in having a small room at the front (approx 2x3m). Preferably would like it where it used to be which is the beam on one of the photos. If room so small not sure how we would use it?
