Advice on Door Opening direction - Left or right?
Comments (1)Dear Oddjob99, If you're still deciding on the door swing direction, it is always recommended to have the door swing towards the nearest wall, so you enter and walk directly into a space, rather than around a door to enter a space. I advice you to stick to your first option 1. Advantages: - Maximize open space for furniture layout. - Better circulation (visually and physically) into a room. - Allow your kids the option to close the door (you can place a door stop so it doesn't shut fully if you're concerned for their safety). Plus as they grow older, they will eventually prefer having their privacy. Happy decision making!...See Morehelp me decide where to put my TV in this living room

Comments (22)Hi Philip You can hang on wall whatever you like i guess. I would start with a question, is your room soundproofing sorted? After the whole room sound insulation you can then put on wall number of different styles of acoustic panels. And make that way your own art. They are made flat poster look likes or textured like recording studios. I would start with that. Then there are many companies doing large prints so you can use your own photo or picture or notes to make your own personal wallpaper. Just an quick idea anyway:) Kind regards Radek...See MoreNeed help with window design, have just 24 hours to decide
Comments (6)Thank you very much Rebecca, Jonathan, AS and Bath Bespoke for your comments, v kind of you. I have attached a picture with the window design I am now actively considering for the non bay windows. I thought this may be a good option since it will maximise the views from the inside. I don't know what the name of this type of window is but it is a solid pane with two fanlights above. Do you think this could be a solution? I am hoping it will blend in with the bays? As for the rendering, I am still undecided whether this will look ok with this style of chalet bungalow, at times I think the brickwork looks good and other times I wonder if it is dated! I think I may have to play it safe with white windows........See More- 4 months ago
