bathroom renovation

We’ve bought flat roofed 1960s bungalow. It currently has a bathroom and separate toilet , separated by a boiler room. We want to make it all into one bathroom.
We’ve partially rewired and the electric supply no longer comes in through the boiler room. However there is an inspection cover for the toilet drain in the floor of the boiler room which I assume we need to keep accessible.
We are on a very tight budget, awaiting a new roof hence the ceilings in these rooms are partially stripped out.
Currently the plan is to block up the toilet door, knock down the walls, remove the sinks and shower, keep the bath and add in a new sink and shower. The space is awkward, but on the plus size it has two roof lights and a beautiful glass block wall. Plus once restored, the bath ( cast iron, sunken) will be awesome. The colour of the bath will lead decisions about the rest of the room.
I’d love to see some cool (and practical) ideas for colours and use of space.
