A smaller open air garden looking out to Savudrija bay is designed in several, differentiated terraces. The garden gives its family a completely intimate retreat. There are 3 levels in the garden. The first one is the entry way with parking and entrance. The second is the main outdoor living area with different living areas, such as dining, relaxing, mingling and resting. The lowest is the most intimate with the outdoor shower and small pebble terrace set within the evergreen shrubs and trees.
Different programs and garden areas complement each other but the main focus of the design is socializing and enjoying of the iews towards the sea. Autochthonous flora awakens one's senses while maritime materials and details create a feeling of sitting on a yacht. The main feature of the garden is the large wood deck, a lookout point. Smaller gathering spaces are set around the garden for dining and entertaining. The lookout is designed in teak wood and limestone stone table that is designed as a monolith. The a-tectonic design of the monolithic table creates a sense of lightness and airiness. A sunscreen provides enough shade in the hot summer days but does not obscure any views towards the sea. Classical elements of the Mediterranean landscape are done in a modern design language with large stone table and bench. The bench has a wood inlay that offers warm seating. Lavender and rosemary herbs are used for the planting, creating aromatic touch to the garden life. Wood shutters throughout the garden offer flexible dividers within the space and provide intimacy when needed.
