We were delighted to contribute to the beautifully crafted Arch House project, designed by the talented team at Polysmiths Architects. Located in London, this renovation and extension project blends clean architectural lines with a Mediterranean-inspired warmth, resulting in a home that feels effortlessly calm, bright, and inviting.

Our role focused on the design, fabrication, and installation of external steel arched doors and external arched partition screen, which serve as a key architectural feature within the extension. The graceful curves of the steel frames echo the soft, sun-soaked tones and textures used throughout the home, reinforcing the Mediterranean vibe that defines the space.

The doors open onto a serene courtyard garden, framed by smooth rendered walls and soft planting. Their slim profiles and high-quality glazing allow light to flow generously into the interior while maintaining visual harmony with the overall palette of natural wood, warm plaster, and subtle ceramic finishes.

Adjacent to the door, the arched fixed screen mirrors the same geometry, offering continuity and balance to the rear façade. Together, they frame the outdoor space in a way that feels both refined and inviting — perfectly aligned with the home’s sun-soaked, Mediterranean atmosphere.

Working alongside Polysmiths, our goal was to ensure that the steel elements not only enhanced the architectural language of the house but also contributed to the relaxed, slow-living feel the design promotes.
