John McNeil was shortlisted for KBSA Kitchen Designer of the Year 2016 (Under 30k) for this kitchen design.

Ian and Lynn wanted to combine two smaller extensions into one larger kitchen and dining space for their teenage family. The existing kitchen was cramped and didn’t fit the overall look they wanted. Their brief was simple – something different with a bit of colour. Kitchen designer, John McNeil was given full control of the design and was able to liaise with their appointed builder to modify the walls, doors and windows. The couple loved the unique design with a cantilevered floating sink drawer and the added use of yellow panels to add a zing of colour. John added wood to the quartz platinum white worktop to add warmth and a tactile finish.
