Bathroom Refurb

This bathroom update was done on a minimum budget and involved the client taking on some of the labour to save cost.
The existing floor- and wall tiles, the wood paneling and fixtures were all removed, a larger window put in and the original floorboards and door were stripped, sanded and sealed. A bathroom fitter and electrician were called in to do the plumbing and wall-hung fixtures and the wiring.
The walls were partly skimmed and wallpapered in a thick vinyl paper, which was then finished with moisture-resistant paint. The floor was varnished with yacht laquer.
Finishings, fixtures and fittings were all individually sourced by the client.
The Interiorist provided the new layout, 3d visualisations to aid the decision-making process and suggestions as to colours and materials.
