This project incorporated some fairly unique materials and concepts.

We used 12mm end grain bamboo for accent panels which is quite unique in itself. This was used alongside more conventional bamboo for the low seating and circular breakfast bar top.

We also incorporated the rather lovely window detailing into the breakfast bar end shelving as a nice touch.

With 3m high ceilings, we took advantage of the added design flexibility but felt the room breathed a little more by not taking the units to the ceiling.

A fairly simple design on the whole, with some lovely detailing that would not compete too heavily against the spectacular bayside views from this penthouse apartment.
