Burned wood coffee table
Our idea, to give trees a second life, inspired us to create a completely new Handicraft collection - Burned wood collection.
The method of wood burning has existed for centuries in the Far East tradition as a way to protect and preserve wood from pests. Today, however, also for us, the use of this method has a slightly different purpose. In this case, the fire, like a chisel, allows to bring out its natu-ral texture from wood and emphasize its uniqueness. In order to have full control over the course of this process, each stage is performed manually by a man, using real, "live" fire.
In addition to visual effects, the method of tanning wood, according to its original, tradition-al purpose, is an excellent, natural method of protecting wood without the need for additional measures. What's more interesting, for some types of wood, fire hardens it in some way, making its durability and hardness significantly increase.

The final result of the wood burning method is not achievable with any other wood treat-ment method, which makes this collection so unique. The collection includes products with a simple, symmetrical form as well as those with a natural shape and edges, thanks to which they will be used in various types of interiors.
