Carbis Bay Hotel, St Ives, Cornwall
As part of a ten year masterplan for the world-class Carbis Bay Hotel, The Bazeley Partnership have been involved with the development of the Carbis Bay beachfront.
The redevelopment has included the creation of eight, three and four bedroom beach lodges, which are serviced by the Carbis Bay Hotel. Each lodge is finished to a high specification with luxurious furnishings befitting the hotel’s five-star status. The beach lodges all come with private beachfront gardens with direct access onto the award-winning blue flag beach.
Alongside the beach lodges is a versatile, all-encompassing leisure facility. On the ground floor, cafés and retail outlets serve the beachside promenade space, whilst the middle floor houses additional club room hotel accommodation. The top floor offers a restaurant, bar and event space, all with fantastic panoramic views out across the Bay.
The Carbis Bay development was a Regional Finalist in the 2020 LABC Building Excellence Awards, for Best Small New Housing Development and Best Small Commercial Project.
