This project was all about lifestyle design for this lovely family. They were returning back from NY with their young son so life was very different compared to when they left London . The brief was to create a place where they can have the feeling of glamour & drama at home without having to escape outside the home. Key consideration was to create clear areas for every aspect of their life (library - adult entertaining, snug - TV room, kitchen - main family area) so that their home was fully utilised.

- For example, we created a hidden bar so that they could entertain at home.

- We used luxurious but WIPEABLE materials like velvet which has already been tested with the dining chairs (even tomato sauce can't destroy it). Other fabrics have a slight pattern so you can't see the dirt so easily.

- We used affordable rugs in the areas that are prone to family mess. They still look very lush and luxurious.

- We created 'adult only' areas like the library and master bedroom which would be out of reach for the children.

- We used dark paint for those sticky fingers but provided glamorous feel at the same time.

- We hid all the media. Something that every family can related to and what I am obsessed about.
