The clients requested a planting design for this country garden. A blank canvas, with no borders, existing mature trees beyond boundary of garden. Their brief included to screen boundary fence, softening view of shed, summer planting, a neat & clean finish with curved borders. The spectacular views of Ilkley moor beyond where considered in the design; the serpentine beech hedge adds structure and screening whilst in harmony with the views. The garden was previously landscaped by Thomas Moore Landscapes before planting design commissioned. Project cost includes design, sourcing & planting.
