This detached home was updated with a two-storey extension and large skylights to open up the space. The open plan kitchen with exposed brick walls includes tailor-made joinery, sliding door and storage made from birch plywood – chic and simple with an industrial scandi feel. In the spacious living room a wood-burning stove was installed to juxtapose the minimal interior and bring a cosy feel to the room. Light wooden floors were laid throughout with under-floor heating.
