We designed this cottage garden around a sixteen century Sussex cottage , laying meandering brick paths, herbaceous beds, topiary and a lovely yew hedged vegetable garden.

all claudia de yong- long view of meandering brick path leads to a greenhouse, it is planted on one side with hornbeam hedge and the other a bed against wall of house is edged in buxux, with thyme, heuchera palace purple, astrantia, luzula nivea and various climbers

all claudia de yong- cottage path we laid to meander in an area that was disused and behind the back window of the cottage with low buxus hedge and heuchera, astrantia, luzula nivea and frames on two sides by standard viburnums.

Cordon Apples have been trained over the arbour in the vegetable garden. A small rustic gate was made to enter the garden and there are six beds for vegetables and cut flowers.
