The client of this elegant Edwardian home wanted shutters in a bay window of a bedroom. As shutters let in quite a lot of light we added blackout curtains on mounted on a concealed track. Another bedroom needed a privacy blind and a blackout option. We installed a voile roller blind and a blackout honeycomb pleated blind over the top. This type of blind lifts up high and barely takes up space. It also has insulating properties. The French doors of the living room were treated with interlined pinch pleat curtains on a traditional wood pole mounted on brass brackets.
