When we first visited the property in Formby (near Liverpool) we were blown away by the beautiful pine woods that surrounded the house. The organic, flowing forms of the pine trees became the muse for many of the bespoke features we designed into the interior. Their fluid branches inspired the patterns on the stunning glass staircase and the custom-designed carpet in the sun-room alike. The kitchen doors coated in metal and glass resin also emulated the trees’ magnificent structures, an image which was then repeated in the glass screen dividing the kitchen form the snug.

The en-suite bathroom pod was a unique touch that squeezed a little of the space from a large dressing room into an undersized master bathroom. A translucent bronze mesh fabric was pressed between the glass panels of the pod, offering privacy and cosiness whilst maintaining the free flow of light between the rooms.
