They say the kitchen is the hub of the house and in this design I was asked to completely transform a dark and old fashioned kitchen into a modern space with an industrial feel.

The new bifold doors flood this room with light and in the summer allow the owners to blur the boundary between inside and out. A new kitchen layout with its poured concrete counter tops has given oodles of workspace, and the addition of the steel pipe with hanging exposed lights, scaffold board shelves, surface mounted sockets and exposed brickwork gives a modern industrial feel to this space.
