Industrial Modern Handleless Kitchen in Hampshire
This beautiful home in Alton, Hampshire had undergone an extensive remodel by the new owners. We were appointed to design and create the kitchen with the client having a clear idea of what they wanted. The aesthetic for the house was an industrial Scandi. Black crittal windows, herringbone wooden flooring and an impressive black extension looking onto the garden.
Working with Pete the client chose a handleless painted kitchen in cashmere and diamond grey, creating a minimalist and industrial feel, removing unnecessary detail to allow the room to be a backdrop for family life and the garden beyond.
Appliances and hardware was kept minimal and dark, with a Bora venting hob in the island, Neff black ovens, a black Quooker fusion tap and a stunning Fisher and Paykel Fridge Freezer in Matte Black.
In order to maintain a sleek aesthetic around the ovens and avoid the use of vertical handleless rails, some low profile edge pulls in black were worked into the design. The kitchen progresses into a dining area, with a built-in bar and counter top with wine racks. Select specialist built in lighting throughout the kitchen completes what is one of our favourite projects and one that feels as impressive today as when we fitted it.
