This site has an area of about an acre and is sloping up from the house towards a large mixed hedge. The concept is to provide a formal area with a kitchen garden and dining / entertaining space close to the house. There are some steps leading to an avenue that takes you to a reflection pool. The pool is fed by a rill flowing down the hillside. A dog leg bend transforms the rill into a stream fed from an informal man-made pond situated next to a summer house. A path leads to an orchard from the summer house which then allows circulation back to the main house. Mature trees will need to be planted in appropriate locations to provide privacy and to help give an air of secrecy as the owners and their guests explore the garden.
